Company Directors

The company was registered as a close corporation in 2002 by Mr. Robert Mbwana (Pr. Eng.). Operations however only started in 2005.

In 2019, the company was converted into a Pty Ltd with Robert Mbwana (Pr. Eng.) and Kgodiso Mashile as shareholders and directors. The company currently operates throughout South Africa from its 3 Regional offices located in Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo Provinces.

Mr Robert Mbwana is the CEO of Inhlakanipho Consultants. He is a highly skilled professional civil engineer with 28 years of wide-ranging international experience in program and project management, design and construction supervision of both urban and rural infrastructure projects and utilities in South Africa, Botswana, and Malawi. Areas of particular specialization include programme management, management of projects and water utilities operations, planning, financial management and budgeting, cost recovery, and customer service and institutional reform.He is also experienced in all technical engineering aspects of peri-urban and rural water project design and start-up, contract documentation, and construction supervision. Mr Mbwana has worked on international donor funded projects funded by SIDA, the German GtZ, and USAID and has been referred to by references as a natural leader, excellent communicator and manager, and a sound technical engineer.

Mr Kgodiso Mashile is the General Manager: Operations and Business Development. He is a highly skilled Candidate Technologist with 20 years practicing civil engineering.

His work experience comprised of working for private Construction Company, Consulting Engineering Firm, Provincial Government and also Local Government at different Local Municipalities. From his working experience He is aware of the Ethics and Responsibilities needed by the Profession, Project Management and Public Administration. He is also experienced in all technical Engineering aspects of peri-urban and rural infrastructure projects start-up, planning, designs, and contract documentation and construction supervision.
